Damnit, I got really excited, but then once again it was something that is not made for my 2002 Lanos!

Oh, duh, I see it now. I need to slow down when I read sometimes. So what will this do for my HB?

I currently have the stock suspension, I already own a set of lowering springs that have been sitting in my closet for a year, and I am going to put G2's all around(maybe the gas-a-just, what is better?)

I want to have everything before I have it installed.

hmmm geus thats nice if yoru car is really lowered alot?... mine is lower by 4cm atm my camber is still inside the factory defaults on a 205/45R16 well at front that is :s

my backwheel camber is shite but i heard popping some metal plates between the flage and the back suspension can fix that though

I haven't purchased any yet.

My camber on all 4 wheels is way off.

All 4 insides of my tires were bald.

also I didn't lower my car yet. The stuff has been sitting in the garage for a year now.

Is a camber kit necessary with bigger shoes and lowering?
And what exactly is a camber kit and can it be hand made?

i dont think camber can be adjusted!!!!

Post by damian007vk »

i dont think it is possible to adjust camber with that k-mac kit for the lanos...you see eibach also has a kit but they only list it for leganza and nubira...also..i took off my rim and checked it out really well, and I dont see that screw (about 12mm) that is used to adjust the camber shown in the picture from eibach nor ebay nubira kits nor the kmac site...in the lanos...it seems to be all one piece.....

also, one more thing...i received my koni yellow shocks today...one big bummer though...they are not adjustable after all....but oh well...i heard i shoudl still be very very happy with them...i am going to be installing that and a few other thigns this week..

so yeah....if n e one out there...especially you euro astra/kadett dudes know if it is even possible to adjust the camber on the lanos..please let me know asap....I saw that custom camber plate stefan made...woudl that work for lanos...is that the only way...i think it might be,,need feedback....goodnight

Possibly its something to do with model years. Perhaps, as a daewoo mechanic, you could check this out? See if there was a change from the one piece strut/hub to the bolt-on hub arrangement?
