GR-2 or Gas-A-Just

Post by SuperDuperDaewoo »

I am set on the KYB shocks. But I do not know whether to buy the full set of GR-2 or the Gas-A-Just, please help me out guys.
Tell me your experience with these, and which ones I should purchase.

I have a 2002 Daewoo Lanos HB, I have the springs for a 1.5" all around.

Other than the shocks and springs, will I need any other parts for the install (possibly a camber kit?) or will this be all that I need for a safe lowering?

actually you need both.
GR2 for front and Gas-A-just for rears.

As far as I know they don't make GR2 for rears

According to the site in which I am thinking about buying the from they do.

So is this all that I will need in order to lower my vehicle with out damaging my suspension and ruining the life of my tires?

While Gas-A-Just are your entry level OEM replacement shocks/struts, the GR2s are the 'quasi' performance onces, and you can get the GR-2 for the rear:

Front GR2: 365025
Rear GR2: 343177

Hope this helps.

At least in Canada, the GR2's come with a lifetime warranty.

Just make sure that you get the camber checked and a 4 wheel alignment right away after dropping.

What do you mean by the camber checked?
