the acura tl is going for 30k and has 29k miles on it but there is another one an hours drive for 27k with more options but has 55k miles on it.. but smaller wheels ;) and has 1 owner and i have seen the carfax for it

there is also on in california.. where im going on my honey moon for 24k with 60k miles on it

the g6 gos for 30k new but i found one with 7k miles on it for 20k but its 3 hours drive.. i will make the drive to get the car.. thats not a problem for me. i have done it before

my plan is to talk to place here down to 23k and i will buy it but if they dont i will see if i can get the one an hours drive for the same.. and if i cant get that one i will get the one in california.. ( got family down there to check it out for me)

and if i cant get the TL i will pick up the g6 instead

then just go for the cheaper of the two then. since both are farely new (any of them) warrantees should still apply for a while on most of them.

If you like the TL you should look at the TSX which is quite a bit less money and just as nice.

The TL has a very strong engine.... but the TSX is no slouch either.

I wouldn't touch the G6 with a ten foot pole..... the Acura has way better resale... way better warranty and way better relaibility.

I have an Acura 3.5RL with over 100,000 miles and it's barely broken in.... a G6 might not make it to 100,000 miles.

As a side thought.... check out the Audi A3.... I'm going to buy one in the next few months (trading in the Acura due to poor gas mileage)

http://www.audiusa.com/model_home/0,,bo ... le=a3sedan

Brand new they are starting at $25K..... it's based on the same chassis as the Golf GTi so there will be shitloads of mods available.

The direct injection 2.0L with the DSG transmission is the way to go... very fast... very decent on gasoline.

The DSG is actually a computer controlled manual transmission that drives like an automatic.

You can drive it in fully automatic or have some fun and use the paddle shifters.

This tranny is the future for all vehicles..... VW is going to eventually share the technology with other companies (for a royalty of course)

Anyways...... it's a damned nice car.... I've been looking for a new car for a while and I'm 98% sure this is my wife's new car.

My only problem is deciding on the 2.0L turbo DSG or the AWD Quattro 3.2L DSG "S-Line"

The "S-Line" is a hell of a car.... but it's way more money..... think of it as Audi's version of the R-32 with some refinements.

I guess I'm going to vote for the TSX too... Main reason, the G6 is a new car design...

I've noticed over the years that new car designs coming out today take a couple years to get the kinks worked out of them. I'm sure there are examples where this isn't the case, but in general I find it to be true. The G6 is a pretty nice looking car and I LOVE it's gauge cluster. However, I have heard from numerous people that they have had to have their G6 in for repairs and weird buggy problems (same old story with a new design).

So with that in mind... go with the TSX which is based on more tested and sound technology (in my humble opinion).
