Rolled fender

Hey guys, I was wondering how much it usualy cost to get fender lips rolled. I have a nubira and i only need the rear rolled. Any ideas?

Anything i should worry about?

P.S. i think i posted this a week ago and went on a trip and when i got back i couldent find it.

I just cut my lip out. It took as much time but didnt crack any paint. Cost maybe $30 is tool bits once I got it right... if I did it again it'd cost maybe $12. I just a 24,000rpm rotary (is that the right name for it?) tool and just used cut out bits to cut off the metal then a flapper wheel to smooth the edge. Took like 30 mins for the back.

Do you have any pics of that? I am not to crazy about cuttin out the lip, im worried i would cut to much or that the lip would cut my tire.

Dose anyone else have any ideas.

Thats why you sand it down afterwords so its not sharp. No I dont have any pictures, sorry. But rolling its will crack the paint... no shop will promise you that it wont. I was watching a reliable car shop (dream car garage or SCR) and they had a nice shop do theres and still cracked the paint being as carfull as possible.

Some minor paint cracking has to be expected. Your stretching the metal so the paint is obviously going to try and stretch with it and the paint isnt all THAT thick...

The panel shop i went to had a cool tool that bolted to the wheel hub. It had an arm and a rubber roller on the outside to push against the lip. I think he charged me like $40AU to "lip" both the rear arches on the Lanos....

Yeah. Look around locally. Usually you can rent one for like $10. I know most of the racing organizations, car clubs, and even the discount tire by my house rents them out. That tool works best. Also, you can try heating the paint around the lip so there is less of a chance of the paint cracking.
