Springs

Ok, I just bought some H&R Springs and they arived today. But the only place that can install them wants $300. Is that a fair price? Can i install them on my own since i have all the tools?

yeah they're tryin to rape you on that. maybe $200 at the most.

dont know for sure because i dont know what you drive but some of the tools you will need are pickle forks and spring compressor and it took me to change my lanos springs about 1 hour

Mine was around $150-$180 and included two alignments... one off the bat and one later down the road when the springs settled in more.

here in PR u can get them installed and aligned for $100

but i did it myself

i have that same springs and they work perfect on my car

... I rented a tourqe wrench but how do i know wat bolts to use it on and wat the mesurements are?

I did mine myself, but $300 is way high... Just be careful and have some help when doing the springs yourself (if thats what you're doing), there are a lot of things you have to think about while doing them.

yea my dad is going to be helping me and my uncel who is really smart when it comes to ANYTHING cars lol.. But wat about the tourque wrench do i really need it cause no one has told me i do yet, But in the booklet for my springs it says i do.

Just a little confused...

mine cost me here (new spring + new shocks) 55 $ the install + 23 $ the alignment

It is to get the pickles out of the bottom of the jar so you don't get your fingers wet, of course!

I've never heard them called pickle forks before, but they do look somewhat similar.
However, I think that if you tried to use those to get pickles out of the jar, you'd smoosh the pickles into relish.

Cultural differances.

Some places call a carbonated sweet beverage Pop, some call it Soda, and others refer to it all, no matter what flavor or brand as a Coke.

You grew up in an area that calls ball joint seperators Pickle Forks ... and I grew up where they are called ... ball joint seperators!
