2.2 leganza engine swap

i was wondering that if i was able to track down a 2.2l leganza engine if it would fit in my lanos...im trying to get my car to race and i dont know if i want to go out there with a 1.6

It theoretically should fit but nobody has tried it..... I'm pretty sure it's the same block so it should have the same front engine mount as the 2.0L.

I'm not sure about the transmission end of things... I don't know a whole lot about the Leganza..... most of my research has centered around the Lanos,Nubira,Lacetti, Sunbird GT turbo, Pontiac LeMans and Vauxhall/Opel Astra.

same engine as the nubira. Now I was thinking about the Ne Suzuki verona (magnus). Still have a compatible engine with the nubira?
