Some dude selling lanos 1.6 but using a pic of a vauxhall

Post by Slammed »

Some bone head most likely stole some pics from our members pages and posted that he had a daewoo lanos 1.6 but shows a pic of a vauxhall motor

i wonder if the lanos and mitsubishi moter will fit onto each other, then that would be nice alternative to parts.

he doesn't know anything about lanos and others etc.

i thought the first was a lanos with opel engine dropped into it.

For starter, the motor in the Lanos on the photo is the C20XE. And I have seen photo of this car on this forum earlier - so either they are really confused to what they are selling, or there is C20XE in north america.

both engines are not daewoo engines... i think the guy is trying to rip everybody or doesn't have a clue what he is selling.

well we do know the opel engines will fit, but if the mitsubishi engine can be installed into it, that means we have more parts and or engines available, if it is fairly easy.

if the Mitsu engine can fit in, i'd recommend a 1.8 MIVEC engine... it pumps 175 HP stock.

Yeah... he's answered a question on there saying it's a Daewoo engine and he just used a 'default picture'... I personally wouldn't buy it since he's asking WAY too much $650 for a engine with 65k on it.

he is near by me... actually lives closer to Tony Clifton ;) hehe

I think he just didn't have any pics of a daewoo engine and put anything up.

Yes $650 is a bit high for an engine with 65K on it. I paid that much for my engine with less than half the mileage.
