more 'Woo damage... :(

Post by Rodd1s »

dont you just hate those little concrete ledges that are about 1 foot tall... and u can never see them in the mirrors when you revers...?!

well i hit one! :(

the damage isnt bad, only the left rear mud guard thats slightly hanging off. with two new bolts in there and bracket it should be fixed, but for me personally i was really pissed off at myself, because i've never hit anything when reversing before. i've been able to drive since I was 10 years old... and have never done any damage to a car. thanx to one little concrete ledge, that glory is gone!

the damage might not be as bad as some other "wrecks" that have been happening lately, but for me personally it is something i'll never forget.

To an extent, I know how you feel. About 13-14 years ago, I was hit from behind while I was at a stop light (not a whole lot I could do about that one), but besides that, the worst thing I ever ran into was a soft snow bank when I was having fun drifting in some snow.

I'm glad to hear you didn't have much damage. I'm sure you'll be more mindful of those kinds of things in the future though.

Have you color matched your mud gaurds? If not, now might be a great time to tackle that project. :)

painting the mud guards was exactly what i was thinking of just after it happened. either that, or i'll take them off, just to see how i like it without them.

yeah it should be fixed quite easily, hopefully. just read bout your incident aswell... police are so useless sometimes! they never seem to believe the real story! i've been wrongfully accused before... and i know exactly how much it sucks!
