Now that is said, to start,

Image

You will have to remove the cap of the fuel tank under the seat. Follow the factory manual removal.

Image

The pump on the left is the neon srt 4 pump while the one on the right is for the nubira.

Image

This is the kit you will get with the pump. The labeled parts are all you need.

Image

Follow the factory manual in the removal of the pump.

Image

Remove the harness from the back side of the pump.

Image Image

Insert the removal tool into the side of the housing and pull the housing apart. This might take some time but be careful.

Image

Pull the stock pump out of the cap.

Image

Remove the pump wires.

Image Image

Remove the rubber thingy on the top of the stock pump and install it onto the srt pump.

Image Image

Install the pump gasket to the srt pump.

Image Image

With a screw driver, carefully pull the tap on the filter apart and pull the filter out.

Image

With the filter out, remove the O ring on the housing.

Image Image Image

Insert the O ring that came with the pump and install the new filter.

Image

Install the new pump by inserting it into the hole that the stock pump was in.

Image

Assemble the pump back. You will have two sets of wires for the pump.

Image Image Image

On the pump harness, you will need to remove the black and red wires. Insert a pin into the bottom part of the harness and pull the wire out from the back.

Image Image

Insert the srt pump wire with the wire side up into the harness. Be careful to install the red and black wires to the corresponding place on the harness.

Image

Plug the harness back into the plug and install the pump back into the tank.
Install the pump back into the tank following factory manual.
you are done.

as of this moment, the pump is in the car and I HAVE NOT DONE A RUN TEST.
i dont know what amp the pump runs at. if you are good in electrical circuit, you can send the right voltage and ampage to the pump.
or you can wait till i test the pump when i am less busy. ;)
enjoy the install and dont kill yourself.
ps: you might need a fuel pressure regulator if stock one dont respond well.

the pump did not run. i dont have any gas in the tank.
the nubi has a device that stops the pump from running with out fuel.
so when the project is done and i put some fuel in the tank, i'll let you know.

my t20sed block was damaged. the c20ne has the same block as the t20sed with some minor differences. the 1990 - 1994 sunbird block shuold do.
c20ne = c20get. c20get is the turbo version of the c20ne. c20get has beefy internals. so if you are going my direction, i will get the c20get engine as a whole to start. if not, you can always go with the c20ne if you are going to upgrade the internals anyway. ;)

all that is left is to hook up the emanage, fans, weld o2 bung in down pipe, connect turbo oil feed, intercooler pipes, and start her up "hey" :D .
will hook up the MSD dis4 after start up (i dont want to worry about too much when problem solving if no start up)
sad part, still cant drive her. i have to finish up the projector head lights first( i am too lazy to finish it).
here are some pics of the progress:
