Hmm ... it seems that I can't find any Eibach distributor in my country.
The only lowering kit I've found for this car is from H&R : 1.3" front and 1.25" rear.
What do you guys think about H&R, are they good ?

Thanks,
Dinu

Any ideea about KW lowering springs ?

Aparently the Orciari sales KW lowering springs for Nubira 2 - 35 mm (front and rear) - but I don't know how good they, especially for bad roads ... or compared with Eibach ?

My Eibach & Koni arrived

Post by dinoc »

So I've received my Eibach lowering springs ( after 3 months of shipping, "thanks" usps :) - bought them from tirerack ), bought my Koni adjustable shocks and now I'm about to look for some auto-repair shop to have them installed.

Regarding Koni, I've noticed that the back shocks can be adjusted only at install time - so once I have them installed I won't be able to adjust them - I hope I'm not wrong here - tough the front shocks can be adjusted at any time after installation.

My concern and my question here is how to adjust the back ones (what level of stiffment should I choose) - I'm asking this because :
- my car is a day by day driving car
- the car will be lowered 30 mm (back and front)
- I do have people on the back seats frequently
- we do have "so so" good/bad roads
- i still want to have a preaty comfortably ride (as much as posible, I know this are sport ones but ... :))

So you guys, who have Koni - please give me some advices here .

I will definitely post pics, but my concern is first, how to adjust the stiffness level of the back ones :)
If I adjust them to the best comfortably level, with car lowerd 30mm, 4 persons in the car and luggages on the hood - driving all around the Europe - will I be safe with this setup
?

This is how it looks lowered - I'll post better pictures on member's cars area, soon.
It's lowered 30 mm front and rear with Eibach ProKit - and it has Koni Sport adjustable shocks - the handling is superb and the comfort still exist.

As I said before, I need a front strutbar (front tower bar) now - so if you know any (especialy those who have a Nubira car) please let me know ... I still can't believe no one with a Nubira here, do not have a strut bar ...
