Future project.

Post by daewhorider »

Ok guys i need some opinions on what to do with my lanos. Here was my plan right now i have a top of the line sound system but i wanna do some body mods, here they are. Im planning on getting 18 in rims motegi konig or enkei. then i want to drop it with some lowering springs. then i would have to have the speedo recalibrated. change my spedo led color from green to blue. get angel eyes. Figure somthing out for the grill possible mesh. Right now i like the color it is but i was thinking on getting it all repainted tdue to body imperfedtions, i was thinking candy midnight blue with or with out sparkles(metal flakes, aluminum) then have it all tinted. after all this im thinking on swapping the engine with one of those opel c20xe's but i dont know where to get it. oh and i wanted blue tint headlight bulbs. Im figuring this is gonna cost me around 2800$ without the engine swap. Oh and i was thinking on getting the interior redone with leather. Or i can just sell what i have and save for a different car possibly one of the newer celicas. What do you guys think?

I recommend that you go with smaller then 18" wheels. 18's will cut your performance, of course you might just really like the 'wagon wheel' look. You might also run into problems with rubbing if you don't size them right.

Not fond of grill mesh, but that's up to you. The main reason is behind the central part of the original grill is a metal panel. Looks kinda bad through mesh (I think).

Im planning on painting the grill black or silver, you can see that metal back there anyway, the 18s im afraid my rub too but i notice the wheel wll is really deep so im not really really worried. I have a feeling 18s wont weigh much more then my stock steel ones, lol. But ill make up for it with a new air filter or somthin.

I like the enkei's and the O.Z. wheels. Those Enkei's are just about the same design as my Konig Heliums (which I don't think are available in
18" since 18's are far less efficient when it comes to speed/performance and the Heliums are supposed to be a 'racing wheel').
