spark plugs and ignition leads

Post by Rodd1s »

ok, i've seen that many people have replaced their stock spark plugs and ignition leads with aftermarket ones, and good news come from it.

i've decided i am also going for this little mod. here's what I have in mind:
NGK V-Groove spark plugs and Bosch 'performance' ignition leads

next step... where or how can i find out (unless someone can tell me) what type of spark plugs i require for my car, its a 2002 Lanos 1.3 SOHC.
any help would be appreciated, and any other ideas for spark plug and ignition lead combination are welcome.
thanx.

for spark plugs: log on to www.ngk.com and browes the correct spark plug for your car, i am currently using the dual electrode ones that comes OEM on the 2.0 Leganza.

for leds: don't go over a 8.5mm wire as it will be a waist of money, never heard feedback on the BOSCH ones but basicly it is a recommended upgrade.

you wno't have any probles with your stock leads. don't even really need to upgrade unless you have a lot of upgrades on the car like turbo or something.
