I would recommend a quick study up on basic electronics. You NEVER put a bigger fuse in than what was stock, because it is a fire hazard, and if more current is drawn than is supposed to be drawn, your wires will melt causing fire. This is the job of a fuse, to blow if something is drawing more power than it should, to PROTECT against damage and fire, it is not a resistor. The entire car runs off a 12 volt source, (actually 13.5 volt,) so a resistor will be need to limit current, or the LED will burn out in all of 30 seconds.
