I think the Lanos has something like 2/5 stars on the crash test ratings. Below average protection at any rate.

Not really the safest car, but it is the driver who makes more difference than if it is a Volvo or a Yugo...or a Daewoo.

crashed daewoos.

Post by lanowoo »

in any jukyard i have found where i live, all of the daewoos have been hit in the front, besides one that was skidded off of a cliff, that look of the daewoo lanos, makes me think twice about having it, the drivers side door was all of the ways touching the passengers floorboard, and the roof was ripped back like a bannana peel, and the whole dash was sticking through the front widshield. there was a circular dent that went back about 1/2 the thickness of the car. i gives me the hibby jibbys, if i ever get to go back, i'll give you a picture of what i am talking abut. it was a hatchback like mine.

To get the best result is to do it yourself drive the car at 60mph and hit a wall if you die thats 5 stars if you live thats 2 stars if your car is damaged your screwed thats no stars.
