Answers dissappeared. I had a folowup as a couple said pull the tranny and engine at same time. If i do that I feel that I have to pull the CJ joints etc. I dont want to mess with wheels etc so Can I yank the tranny and engine while not messing with CV ?

if you removed the tranny you will have to remove the CV... after all the CV connects the wheels to the tranny so you gotta remove them.

anyways even with the CVs off you can still move the car arround with no problems whatsoever.
