This bike is SOOOO much nicer than my last one and MUCH more horsepower, too. :)

It is 650cc water cooled V-twin at 72.2 hp

Thanks!! :)

Everyone who sees it really loves it.
I have not heard a single unkind word about it other than ... "Is it going to be reliable?" LOL

Hyosung has been building engines and bikes for Suzuki who rebadge them as Suzuki since 1979, so they know what they are doing.

Best of all, the bike has a 2yr, unlimited milage warranty.

is it learner restricted to 45hp or did you get the restrictor removed?? They are one of the only 650cc bikes you can ride over here and that is provided you have the power restricted

I just realized you got the Digital speedo, I'm actually talking my parents into helping me buy a hyosung gt250 (aka Comet) I want the gt250R but the regular gt 250 would be sufficient =) I might have it by the end of summer =D

I didn't know that bikes had restrictors. .... interesting. No bikes that I know of here in the US have or have ever had restrictors.
So to answer your question, no, it does not. Also, I would not have a learner's restrictor since this is not my first bike.

I really like the Comet. With it being a 250cc, it has almost 10 hp more than the Suzuki GZ250 I used to have. Also, it has twice the warranty of the Suzuki.
After reading some articles online, they said the GT250 accellerates and corners better than the GT250R because it has less weight since it has no fairings.

When all was said and done ... $6,507 out the door. .... then another $206 at the DMV to get the title in my name and put license plates on to make it legal. Where ever you live, costs of registration for plates and title are different, so I have NO idea what it would cost you for that part.

Nah, I don't think those things are that loud... the 250 with silencers removed are still quiet as hell... I think that would be louder, and if it had straight pipes, he'd sound like a harley O.o
