i havent personally looked into too of a depth into the cam leaking put when i drive my car to say a mall and leave it and come back in about an hour or two, there will be a United states dollar size (3-1/2 x 4-3/4) drops on to the pavement. It fairly bad, but i have no real shelter to take and put it on jackstands and start jumping into it. I check what i can.
Here is a picture of where it is comming out of the front, sorry for the bad representation, i have no camera or scanner.

well based on your drawing that could be the cam cover or cam shaft seal.
basicly for hunting down an oil leak we clean up the area where the oil is covering the surface till it is crystal clean then drive the car for a while and recheck the cleaned area... this way you can find out the leaking source before the oil stains smeres all the engine block.
if you can do it yourself try to remove the timing belt cover and take a look at the cam shaft seals area... if it is covered with oil as well then most probably you got cam shaft seals issue.
i strongly recommend a good engine cleanup followed by a throughout inspection for that leak.
I finally taken the cover off and to my suprise it is not leaking aroung the cam seals, there is a little bit of a coat of oil on the camshaft gears, but it isn't nearly the amount that is ending on the ground or the front of the engine. My only guess is the camshaft top is warped... or the cover.. i don't have very much $ right now. But i wonder how much getting the top shaved would be, probably $250 (USD) or a new cam cover. Hey would you know how much they would cost, i will give you the cam cover part #
Part #: 96351548. i cannot find a price since the dealership i go to doesn't open up untill sunday (wierd hours.)
