Just got my first car.
Daewoo Leganza 1999, Its the 1998 car but because its a import and it didn't get stamped untill 1999 or some thing its a 1999 car. (don't ask I don't really understand it)

Performace wise i plan of getting apod fillter for it in a few days, But im not sure how to go about installing it so i will have to look for a guide or somthing.
Then in a few months time when i change to salary at work i will turbo it. Not gonna go for a huge turbo that could suck a small child in, but somthing decent.
Also i hope to get the windows done with limo tint how ever this is being done by a friend of friend so im not sure when this will happen.
Lastly nothing huge but im getting snap-on seat cover soon as well.

Cool. I'm planning on getting my Lanos tinted pretty quick here. Professionally done though. I made two attempts to do it myself... but uhh... I'm not very good at it. Hehe
As for the tint if its not perfect i will take it and get it done properly cos the last thing i was see is bubbles in it :P

i have a 98 leganza (more or less identical to yours) and i found that the pod filter made the car run like crap, and after timed 0 to 100 runs it was slower. I put in a 2' exhaust and that made it go better. Anyways, in another car i got defected for having a pod filter on it

Hrm ok. Im not very mechanically minded im more in to auto eletrics and car audio.
I guess this car will be more about looks then speed for me as it is my first car and i wanna learn to handle it probebly first befor i go to crazy on it.

the pod/cone filters do kind of seem to take away some power, unless u get an minor ECU remap or something along the lines of that (which is what someone else did) and only then is the new filter really worth it. On the stock engine all the filter does is add a lot of noise. its a good noise tho... a real head-turning noise. my car sounds like a Scooby 2.0 turbo. or, so i hav been told.
