Painted headlights/tail lights

Well I rather smoke them out but this is the next best thing since I've tried tint sprays and I dont like the way they turn out. So whats your advice on doing something like these pictures. I think it looks good.. especialy on a black car like mine. What paint should I use? I live in AZ and the temps can get in the hundreds plus I have higher output headlights so heat is an issue. I also need to it paint onto the headlight and look very clean. I dont want this to look half-assed.

Though I have heard people going to tint shops and having headlights/tail lights tinted. Will a shop do this? will it last? I much rather do this as it'd make the car look much better.

i like the work on the headlights... will look very nice specially on a dark car... i recon if you painted the outside it would be subject to the elements and fade away unless you got something that can withstand abuse.

i'd suggest painting the inside of the headlight but i am not sure if it is eqasy to open yours for such tasks.

don't like the rear lights... makes it look too small.

Looks very nice man, i really love the front ones on the black car.
