stereo system in the blue lanos

Post by DomWoo »

had some stereo components sitting aorund not being used so i thought i would throw them together and put them in the blue woo that doesnt have a sound system

its a no name brand system that i got for my birthday 2 years ago and never used

its boss everything ..
mp3 head unit
5.25 door speakers
2 10"
600 watt amp

i think it was a package deal for like 200$

here is the sub box i made in like 1 hour.. i wanted it totake up the least amount of space and still look good

LOL ... I see no pic at all.

Things you will need are a radio installation kit, wiring harness adapter and you will need to make MDF speaker adapter/spacer rings to fit the 5.25 speakers in the doors.

I have found that no matter how crappy people may talk about Boss stereo eauipment (like I do! LOL) their higher end stuff is usually better than the factory stereo, so it should sound better.
Even if you just add the subwoofers and amp, it will sound better than the factory stereo.

Please, if you can, post pics we can see. :)

I'll help when and where I can.

they can be mounted either way.. sounds great too for the size of the box. the vol is about 1/2 cubic foot

when i decided to buld a box i didnt want ot go tothe store for any meterails so i looked at smy scrap wood pile and pulled out all the pecies i needed.

my orignal plans where to have the subs sitting normal and when i figured out how much wood i was going ot need, it wasnt going to work. i ended up having to go with a box that small and it worked out great.. takes up little space and looks kinda nice tucked in the corner like that
