I've noticed a few other forums where they just didn't get the membership they needed or they just had horribly designed templates that were just plain hard to read (white text on a light gray background on one).

I think DaewooTech rocks and I have not only made friends, but learned a ton about my car because of it. So I would have to vote that there already is a place like what you were talking about... Right here. :D

i've talked to him about this (the original poster). the idea is to make engine specific forums. it's not a big deal for the lanos guys (cause we are quite abundant) but the suzuki guys only have a general forum really and there aren't many of them here. also, the 2L and 2.2L cars in general don't have a huge following where they might get better response if they had a forum for them, as opposed to all daewoos in general.

see, we're reaching a point now where there are several model daewoos

-racer
-lanos
-nubira
-leganza
-reno
-forenza
-aveo
-verona
-matiz

if you look at honda boards they have sections for each engine type or each model type. now, we obviously don't have enough people to re-do a new forum, but to have a purely technical one with engine specific information would be nice. there is TONS of engine info on daewootech but it is scattered all about and very hard to find without spending hours looking through posts.

i think it's a great idea
