Tuning a Lacetti?

I would like to know how i can increaze my car's horsepower without turbo!
I am an owner of one Lacetti 1.4 DOHC and one Aveo 1.4 DOHC!

whats the bore and stroak of your current engine?
how many HP do you wanna add?
how much are you willing to pay?

Both cars are 95hp! i want 10-40 hp but not with turbo!
Here in greece we have euros! I can afford 1500 euros!

Change whole engine with 2.0 from nubira or c20xe or x20xev from opel. It's less expensive, and its real 140-180HP...

i don't want to change the engine because i will loose the warranty and another problem is
the electical things!! It's too hard to find here in greece a specialist on electical things!
Do you know if i can do something???

If you have a warranty... I belive you're restricted pretty heavily about what you can do to your engine without voiding the warranty.

You can go up to 100HP on that engine... That is the limit without kompressor....

How would he do that? You make it sound like it's a switch somewhere on his car.

without doing MAJOR work, the most you can unlock is about 5-15hp from the motor.

THINGS YOU CAN DO!
1. remove resonators and add cold air induction with a pod filter
2. add a low restriction exhaust
3. remove un-necessary weight from engine... air conditioning for example, cruise is another thing
4. block egr system
5. buy better spark plugs and wires
6. upgrade the ground wiring to the battery

none of these things will void the warranty. if you feel adventurous, port and polish the manifolds/head and buy a header wrap or paint the header to increase exhaust flow.

far left side of the exhaust manifold. you can actually just unplug the solenoid that controls the valve and you'll stop it all together

your intake temp will drop by anywhere from 10-30 degrees depending on your fuel load (whether your engine was running lean or righ to begin with)
