Just haven't decided what to do for my heater control section of the dash, I (like most of us) the cables broke and I fixed them with super glue and plastic ties, so i can't take it off to customize......

The link to the pics doesn't show up properly, but that looks pretty good.

If you fixed the cables the right way, the cables should still be removable.
Maybe take them apart and fix them again if you attached them permanently.

nice work man

the A/C controls panel is a bitch to do but it makes huge difference as far as looks is concerned... i recommend you do it even if it is very hard to do so and even if you broke the cables again... just make sure you got enough super glue.

Well got my heater control done, and didn't have to UNDO all the work it took me to fix the cables. I got the face plate off the control unit, and bam ...done.
Pics are coming.

How did you change the colour?

Remove all the panels and spray paint them?

What sort of paint did you use, and can it be done with a paintbrush and without removing the panels?

EDIT: Forget that, I've read the other post and it looks like too much work!

The paint I used is called Fusion (brushed aluminum), but you can use any spray paint that adheres to plastic. I then covered it with a clearcoat also by Fusion, it gives it a extrahard coating that helps against scratches and wear. I put 3 coats of each and you'd be hard pressed to tell I did it myself. My buddy still thinks I got my hands on a Sport dash. ( I hang with him because I feel smart standing next to him...lol)
Remove the dash and paint it, feels like getting into a new car.
I wouldn't suggest painting the dash by brush.....that'll take forever and would be mesy.
