Yeah, the cops have always been a bit of a concern of mine...

I really wana make a cai, but i had a look at putting the filter inside the wheel well so it wasnt in the engine bay, but it was really cramped in there, i actually think i dirtied the filter a bit too :(
The cramping isnt so big of an issue tho, its mainly water when it rains, and to a lesser degree, dust n dirt n stuff...
Im playing around with the idea if somehow enclosing the filter inside the wheel well so it wont get wet or dirtied too much.
I have a length of pvc pipe at home that will fit over the entire filter perfectly, if i can make that into a housing sort of thing, maybe fit a reducer on one end and connect it to a pipe so it can get air inside...

Hmmm...
