Going to be buying some new Rims soon. Need Opinions
I want your opinion or recommendations on rims that you think would look good on my leganza. 18" or bigger. Thx
Hmmmm So you don't mind sacrificing performance for the extra big rims? I wouldn't.
I would go to a maximum of 16" wheels (I personally will be going with 15") and go with a set that are light weight and nice looking.
I saw a guy with some 20"+ rims on a car recently. They looked too much like wagon wheels for my taste... I actually like seeing a bit of rubber there.

If you want bigger, i'd say no bigger than 17 maybe 18 on a car, if you're in a truck/suv, 19+ is fine in my opinionbut on a car, it would look weird... I generally like five spoke wheels, such as these
Really though, what is your taste?
Also like JohnnyC was talking about the bigger the rim, the more performance loss... So if you can go for a lighter wheel since i'm kind of thinking you'd like your car to perform relatively in the same manner, if not better than as it does now...

For a Leggy nothing over 17 inches
Look for 5Zigen, WORK, ROTA and Volk wheels
all i care is going fast
Pimped out cars MAY look good but still slow for all the extra weight
Fast cars look good with simple and light things

Ps.. You can go bigger and lighter (I know theres still more weight on the outside where it hurts though). I've seen 17x9" wheels that are the same weight as my stock 15x6.5"

You may not be intrested in performance.. but Im sure you wont be happy when your acceleration and breaking is reduced. I think the breaking is more effected than the acceleration

I had two sets of wheels that I changed around almost weekly. A set of 16x7 and 17x7. The 16s were 13.2lbs and the 17s were some 18lbs. I noticed a HUGE difference in braking, and a big difference in accel. I even noticed some of a difference in corneringlanos2001 wrote:it really depends what kind of rims he gets though. if he gets some thick ass chrome rims then yeah it'll change it to where he could tell. if he just gets some tuner rims then it shouldn't be too bad.

Mine has 17's (which are for sale ). I like the way 17's look on Leggys. Once it's lowered about a 1.5" all around, i think the will look perfect. Stock are 205/60/15, and i have 205/50/17 now. Im pretty sure the weight difference is minimal. My acceleration is about the same. Mine are alloy, not chrome.

BTW, did i mention my wheels are for sale?
