do you think it would be hard to reappholster the seats myself seeing how i know my way a sewing machine lol?
It shouldn't be, if you are good with a sweing machine.
You will most likely want to remove the stock covers from your seats, use a seam cutter to remove all the stitching and seperate each piece.
With the pieces seperated, you will then have a template to start cutting out the new material.
Once the material is cut exactly to shape, then you can sew the new pieces together, install them and have everyone say "OOoooo" and "Ahhhhhh" about your newly upholstered seats!
im still debating if i should go with racing seats or cover the stock ones, i have already changed everythign that was plastic to vinyl and the seats are going to be the last thing i do
question... how many yards of blue did you have to use? because i have to order the color that im using specially so i need to know ahead of time
personaly i would go whit covered ones in the back and racing seats in the front (preferbly also covered as rest of car) Racing steats in the back yust looks plain silly if ya ask me
I personally think that four racing seats in a Lanos would look very nice. Make a custom center console between the two that matches the stock interior plastic, maybe a forward facing sub between the two backrests, and two cup holders in betwen the seats.
It looks good in my head, but I would like to see a picture of two racing seats in the back of a vehicle,

the only problem with 4 racing seats is that there is a bump for the back seats, wich the gas tank is located under the car, when installing the seats in the back you would have to make them low as possible
i will take my front seats and put them in the back just for the fun of it today and take some picks
