As for the "rally car" sound lol

Post by Woo mass'a »

I took it to a muffler place today, and told em I SWORE I was driving a moped. The S.O.B. had a broken flex pipe. Now its as quiet as I remembor, if not more.

My question NOW is....

Does the following link provide everything that someone would need to preform a timing belt change? Aside from the water pump? If I take this kit to a mechanic and say put it on... will he be able to without ANY other parts?

Thanks a lot guys, this sites great. Just wish my car wasn't IMPOSSIBLE to find parts for. Hence, me being on EBAY lol.

It looks like you'll have everything you'll need for the mechanic to replace your belt. Try to take it to a dealership that used to service (or still does service) Daewoo's... I've heard stories of people taking it to someplace unfamiliar with Daewoo's and not getting the torque right on some of the things and then it caused problems.

Your car is definately not impossible to find parts for. Have you checked DaewooUS.com? They have every single OEM part for your car. You can order literally any part you need for your woo.

I bought my kit with a Gates belt from www.PartsDinosaur.com The guy was very helpful and had decent prices. I recieved all my items exactly as they were described. I would order from the same guy again. I don't know if he carries the parts for your Leganza or not, but I know he's an honest guy.
