I have no problems with the site, but I am running Safari on OS X.

It is not the browser or OS that you use, it is a problem on the server side. :)
I get the same php error when using Zeta OS with Firefox or NetPositive browsers ... or Netscape on MacOS 9.9.2.

but oz, I have never received an issue at all, could it just be specific user accounts?

He's right... It is a server side problem. I've had the problem happen for me before.

It's all to do with cache tables, etc. Set the limit higher, eg. 2500, then there'll be more room for php sessions (eg. seperate logins, pages rendered, etc), and then flush them every day or so.

You just happened to not log in when the problem was happening.
It is all about timing and you always chose to log in when its working.
