poor little birds!!

Post by DomWoo »

haha kinda funny. in my basement there is a wood burning stove and i havnt used it in over 3 years. well today the wind was blowing down the pipe and making some of hte ash become air born in my basement and started to smell like old camp fire.. i hate that smell

so i decided to clean it out.. i took one of those 4 hour logs that you buy at the store and lit it on fire in one corner and started to scoop out all the ashes on the other side so that the dust doesnt go anywhere but up with the heat.. well i was digging around in the 3" of ashes and i seen little birdy feet sticking up  sure enough there was a little bird dead in the in the ash. well i laughed alittle and threw it in the ash bucket. then i took another scoop and there was more birds... and more birds.. there was 10 dead birds in my stove.. some how they flew in there and got stuck and died

i dont know if you find that as funny as i did but i just thought i would share it with you guys

haha that's kinda funny in a sad, sick, dimented sort of way.

I once found only the skeleton of a lizard under a chair that hadn't been moved in probably years. It was picked clean with the entire skeleton intact. :D

While removing a very old tire from a very old trailer a farmer had owned I discovered the skeleton of a snake coiled up inside this tire. The portion with the head still had skin on it, but that was about it.

I had it mounted on my computer top for a few months after that.

One time I pulled my fridge at my parent's place away from the wall (helping my mom clean ) and there were all these things that looked like leaves under the fridge.

I picked on up by the stem, turned to my mother and said.... "look at this weird leaf under the fridge...it almost looks like hair"

My mom screamed and at that very second I realized it was a dead mouse!

The side I was looking at was just a round hairy thing.... the side facing her was the mouse face and feet!

A year or so before moving the fridge my parents noticed a couple of mice running around the house (they live in the country) so they set a few traps and laid out a small cup full of Warfrin (think that's how it's spelled)

Anyways.... Warfrin kills them by dehydrating them to nothing..... even the bones had decinigrated..... it was completely flat ( 1/16" thick ) and all that was left was the outer skin and hair.
