Info about steel wheels?
Hey guys I'm looking for the bolt pattern and the offset for my Optra, I forgot what they are.
I'm going drag racing and I need to buy some 14" steelies from the junk yard soo I need to know what other brand car will fit,
Or does the Nubi or Aveo fit (I think the Aveo came with 13 not sure)
Any input,
Thanx
Arvin

I'd go for some lighter wheels. I notice a HUGE different with only 5lbs extra on a wheel.. makes the car feel sluggish. It shouldnt be hard to find cheap light weight wheels in those sizes... although 15x7 maybe easyier.. I konw in the size you can easily get 12-13lbs wheels for under a 100bux

Hmmm so are steel wheels usually heavier or lighter then your average alloy wheels? Or more to the point... what kinds of wheels are light weight but look good?kinkyllama wrote:I'd go for some lighter wheels. Just start looking up all the cars you can think of that are common in your area of town.. and write down the ones with the same bolt patternrr__kroz123 wrote:

Well, If you're running the CHROME konig tunerz, then yeah, a 14-15" steel wheel will definately be lighter than your aftermarket wheels now.rr__kroz123 wrote:well they are definatly lighter than my alloys, that's why I'm looking for them.

you can order 2 at a time from them, and they have a good selection of wheels, and i believe they ship out of the country. (i think)

4x114.3 is right (usually listed 4x114). I can say about the offset though.
I know you'll have a heck of a time finding a 14" steelie thats worth having cuz its gonna be heavy and skinny. I'd just try to find a way to get aftermarket 15x7.5...that shouldnt be hard.

Well post some, and you'll never know maybe going for the 8" or 7.5", I personally think that 7.5" is enough.kinkyllama wrote:Since Its just drag racing and your FWD Im sure you could easily fit 8" wide wheel.. hell i think someone on suzuki forums has some 16x8 for daily driving.. might wanna make a post and see if its lowered and fi they get any rubbing.
