I'm all for a good deal... but I decided to go with a Gates belt. After reading about the OEM belts, I concluded that if I was going to take the time to change my belt, I should make sure I put the best one I can in there so I'm sure to not have to change it again for a long time.

Sure... it's a lot more expensive then this deal, but worth it I think.

Good pricing indeed! Do your parts came with the GM-Daewoo hologram on the packaging indicating they are genuine parts, as opposed to cheap replicas?

Dear Slammed,

My personal experience with various timing belts has been over 100, 000 miles, but that is because I do not change them untill they go bad. I think preventative maintenence is a good idea. Changing the timing belt before it goes bad, and at the price I am offering the kits at you get all the brand new original equipment components to do the job: belt, tensioner, and idler. So not only can you change the belt you can change the other 2 components to avoid any compplications regarding high mileage.

I hope you go for it and buy a kit and see for yourself.
