Ummmm... I think it's something around 200hp which is around 150KW..... don't quote me on the numbers or conversion.... I'm just estimating.

Yes I am. Or just a stock calibra, might be harder to get a C20LET into a front wheel drive than just dumping in the C20XE then laughing.

c20let and c20xe have the same lower engine. So you can use gearbox as 1.6 lanos.

i think the lanos use the opel f16..it is to small. the f20 gearbox is the better choice...

im using a F16 on my XE, so no problems fitting it.
ive been told that the D16 is a bit stronger than the F16.

Hm. If I was getting the C20XE I was gonna go up to the F20 anyway, but if I can get the LET and the F20... ooooh!
Problem is finding one in Australia.

if he got a lanos... its a D16...
My daewoo mechanic told me that the input shaft looks a bit stronger on the D16.
