2001 Lanos 1.5L Front Brakes

Post by zerolock »

I have a question

Can the calipers of The 1.5L be changed to the 1.6L Calipers
So I can use the bigger rotors and pads

not really sure... it depends on the suspension member/hub measurmints... unfortunatly the 1.5 and 1.6 got different part numbers for that part so you got to test fit every thing first or upgrade to the 1.6 front suspension setup.

other than that you should get the bigger master cylinder and switch to a minimum of 14" wheels.

Thanks for the info

So basically it would cost alot to do

The only reason i was asking was that all the aftermarket parts seem to be for the 1.6L
So I always end up buying from the dealer which always seem to cost more.
