i don't remember enough spanish to make it fun to read :oops:

but the pics show some very promising work. i really like the paint job on the intake manifold. that should be one mean nubi that you all put it in!

Sorry for the spanish

But the pics mostly explain theme self

First remove the Engine from the Leganza 02

Next day we disarmed the intake manifold, exhaust manifold, TB, oil pan etc

Cleaned the parts replace time belt tensioner, rollers, spark plugs and spark plug wire

Installed 360 UD pulley

Next step will be to remove my 2.0 engine and replace it with 2.2

ok, i thought it was a piece of metal or something. you should port match and polish while you have everything apart, there is tons of extra metal on the manifolds that gets in teh way of airflow

Intake manifold will have gasket matching, the intake andexhaust will be ported

Sure we will post pics of everything

When the Project is finished the car will be Dyno tested

We will run the car with the Leganza ECU and then with the Nubira ECU to see if there is any gains

i would think taht it would run lean on the nubira ecu, but i don't know for sure

isn't it supposed to be the same?? i mean the judging factor here is the injector flow rate??

both ECUs will open the injectors for the same amount of time but the injector flow rate at is the deciding factor for how rich/lean the mixture is... right? we are running the 2.0 engine with the 1.6 ECU and so far it is working great.

Well the sensors in both engines will be reading the amount of air in the same way, they have the same MAP sensor

The 2.2 will have the injectors (OEM) to give the extra gas needed for the 2.2

If i remove the first cat in the exhaust i will use the WideBand O2 sensor in the Dyno to see the AFR

DAEWOO cars run rich in open loop, beeing too rich is bad
