Sadly I no longer have that one, and the restoration work to make it show condition was almost complete.
All that was left was to get new window seals, paint and interior door panels.
The engine was polished silver, painted black and everything was high temperature clear coated, as was the transmission.
A woman ran a red light and hit the passanger side of my car while she was going 50mph in a 35 zone.
She totaled both cars and tried to say I ran the light and I was speeding. Whitnesses said I was telling the truth.
Since then, I bought a 1969 VW Squareback station wagon, which has the body style I prefer over the one I lost ... it needs an engine, paint, an complete interior and all new body rubber. The reason I bought it is it has no dents, almost no rust and is in excellent overall condition. It will be back on the road one day... I plan for it to be midnight blue, chrome wheels, bumpers, door handles, lowered suspension and silver mirror window tint.
wOo-TaNg ... post pics after you get it tinted again.
