Final verdict:
Total cost for entire repair:
A whopping $100
This includes a transmission flush, an engine flush, and taking out the starter to dry it.
Depending on how it runs after the entire fluid exchange, I will decide if I wish to keep it or not. If it runs the same or better than before, then my Lanos will see 200,000 K with me, but if the water has damaged the engine or the transmission to the point that it doesn't suit my standards... Then it is up on Ebay.
At any rate, I was too damn smitten with the Lanos Sport to not go out and buy it. I've always wanted to own a 5 speed Sport and now is one of my only, if not THE only chance I have to get one that I like.
I will go pick up my Lanos tomorrow, and will be sure to keep you posted.

Well, just picked it up a mere 30 minutes ago:
Final Verdict:
IT RUNS BETTER THAN BEFORE!!!
The engine idles smoother!
The transmission shifts smoother!
The brakes work better!
For a mere $100, I got a car back that is much better than before. I don't know why, I don't know the reasoning, but this is a better car than the one I drove before!
All of the guys at the shop were so surprised that a Daewoo with 200K miles survived a torrent in which $120,000 Mercedes were readily totalled.
The quest continues, 199,189 miles and on to 200,000 in the coming weeks!
Things to do include: Fuel Injectors, O2 Sensors, Timing Belt, Water pump, Thermostat (all of which i already have)
And its (very hopefully) on to many more happy miles.
But I was so damn smitten with the Lanos Sport that it looks like it will be the next car in my garage. Too awesome of a car to pass up!

WOW... i am very happy for you man 
this proves that those engines are really well belt, maybe they are not racy engines but they are durable as hell and you are a living proof of that.
now we all know what to do when we hit 200k miles and have to freshen up the engine... just drive it into a lake or so and every think will be better afterwards
