best type of air filter?

Do you guys think those Tornado air devices would do anything?

It's an insert you put into your air intake that swirls the air like a tornado as it comes in. The theory is that the swirling air turns more easily and will get a better air/fuel mixture.

I'm putting this in here because maybe it could be an added component to an air filter/air intake setup.

NO!!!! how does putting something in the way of the air improve it? it might work for water like in the demonstration but thats all.

Well... allegedly it's the particular type of movement of the air.

Hmmm have you ever tried one or know someone who did?

i've never tried one b/c of the fact i've read on about five other forums where people tried them and didn't do crap for them. i think i even read once that the tornado fell apart and messed up someones engine. i didn't really wanna go into it but think of it this way. it might even make that "tornado" effect in out intake tube until it gets in the intake manifold. the "tornado" effect isn't gonna automatically funnel itself into all four ports to the pistons. if anything it might somewhat go into the first one and thats at the best. but i'm guessing the turbulance from the intake tube be ribbed would disipate any "tornado" effect. sorry for ranting.
