why is a rear sway bar pointless? enlighten me.

the rear suspension on a lanos is a semi-independant compound link... it's a trailing arm suspension but both sides are connected by the same cental pivot (the large bar across the rear).

you'd have to do it by hand... make individual a-arms and tie them into the chassis.





trust me, it's more effort than it's worth for street driving

so other than springs and shocks what is commonly done to the rear suspension to make the car rotate better at the limit?

optimum is 1/2 degree of negative camber. lord knows what stock is :lol:


the other thing is that the shims can be used in basically the same method to induce toe in or out... which DRASTICALLY changes handlling. tire wear can be minimal if you do everything properly... so if you did shims i would have a shop align it for you when you did it

Can you tell me more about the traction bar? Would it get in the way with anything I have?

Im gonna measure the struts in a couple days since its obvious no1 else will at suzuki-forums
