im not out to flame im just puttin my .02 in. im just tryin to make you realize that when it comes to a car that doesnt fit in (like a daewoo) less is more. the more crap you do to the car, the less people will like it. i hate to flame you, but that's crap too... who said people have to like your car? that just means you have to fit in. you gave that away about you when youe engine died and the first thing you said was that you wanted a honda. i encourage you to go get a honda and leave people alone about their cars. rice as a discusssion is retarded and people need to grow up about it. if you don't like someone else's car... fine, but don't go around telling them it looks like crap. you may have a clean lanos, but your ego and retarded attitude makes you far lower in my rankings than people who have pride in their car, yet respect for other people. your car might be nice, but your personality sucks... it's worse than a ricers

ha...look at the wing on your car...and whats the point of twin turbo on a four cylinder. i havent said anything about you because you havent been like "look at my wing". i make fun of the people who showboat around saying how the ricey shit is so nice and how it looks good. and i dont get stuff just do fit in, i do have a daewoo, the honda isnt becasue i want to be "cool" it becasue i want to have a reliable car and not deal with another problem like the lanos. Plus chances are im not even gettin a honda i should be going nissan. Just becasue 6th graders say that body kits are nice it doesnt mean everyone else does.

my car is a single turbo now, way to keep up. also, the wing is functional. way to read there too. it still makes you look like an ass to go around saying people's cars are ugly because they do something they like. that's like me saying the house you live in is gay because you planted daisies but hemlock bushes are cooler...

i just wish people would grow up around here when it comes to bashing other people's cars. 20 years ago there was no such thing as stupid on a car and now people just rag on one another because of things that don't matter. ever since Daew0Leganza was here, everyone has gotten his disease and started calling each other's cars names and saying how crappy stuff was.

I actually like the idea, Although a little too much paint in places i think it could look nice and i'm sure you'd do a good job on it if you took the time to do it =) The metallic look makes it even better... I wouldn't paint some parts like speaker covers, because i'm not sure how it would look, but hey if you don't like it after it's done there's always black paint! I encourage you to do it if you want, and if you do decide to, get us real pics =D I think a couple of us here would like to see it.

I saw a Ford Escort with REALLY badly painted interior.

They used .... flat white interior house paint!!!

and it wasn't even neatly masked off so there were brush marks where it was not supposed to be.
The car also had a 2 level aluminum park bench wing

and only 2 of the wheels matched!! One front wheel was a stock steel wheel, the other front wheel was a 5-star style alloy and the 2 back wheels were chrome 17" wheels with almost bald tires. I wish I had a camera that day so I could have gotten photos.

Oh yeah... and about that dude and his dislike for stuff... Well... Who cares what that guy thinks? I've always done what I wanted with my vehicles and in the end, people have always told me how much they like my car... but even more importantly, I have always really liked what I've done to my cars (a point our sour friend has neglected to give consideration to).

I think you'll find that if you adjust your strategy for changing peoples minds from a "You're stupid and lame for doing anything I wouldn't do" method to a "Those are interesting ideas, good luck with those even if it isn't my style" kind of approach, you'll find you get better results. I find that I can get much better results in attempting to change someones mind when I don't insult them, their taste, or their Woo... just my two cents.

I love my Woo. So far it's the best car purchase I've made.

ok heres the deal....if you post up stuff then you should expect people to comment on them, if you dont want anyone to make negative comments then dont post it. I only say stuff becasue you leave it all out in the open, and since thats the way i feel about that stuff, i go and say bad stuff about it. The truth is i used to be just like you with all this stuff until i guess you could say "saw the light". I somewhat know whats going through your head and im trying to get you to realize what i realized. Just becasue there isnt a lot of aftermarket stuff around doesnt mean you should resort to doing that stuff. I guess what im trying to say is, if you had a car with a lot of aftermarket parts available would you really be thinking about painting your interior panels?
