wheels sizes

will 16x8's fit my lanos sport without rubbing?

well you should go by offset as i'm sure you know but i think 8 is just too wide. i think the widest you can go is 7.5 at least in the back.

8" seems a little too wide...i have 17x7's with a 1.6" drop and they rub when i hit bumps.

i think you can fit 8's in the front but defintately not on the back. and plus in the front is where you need it to be wider anyways.

there is no way on earth you;d survive the first bump without fender flares. you'll cut the tires open.

I have 6.5" and 1.2" drop, and no rubbing. yeah, pay close attention to offset.

Without flairing my rear fenders I sliced my tires all the way around when I got new wheels, and I only went from 14" to 15" and kept the outside diameter the same by reducing from 60 series to 50 series.
Old tires: 185/60/14
New tires: 195/50/15
I bought new wheels without checking the offset, and it was too close to the outside.

Anyway, after getting the rear fenders flaired and the fender edges rulled up, everything is fine now.
My car will be lowered next week.

im also planing to buy 195/50/15!

will i have problems if i use distancers on that size! im not planing to lower the car?!

is this ok to do whitout any modifications!?

Aymoon and elhamy201 got 195/50/15 tires on thier lanoses, aymoon got no rubbing issues whatsoever and elhamy got some at the rear.

if you got the correct offset then you will have no rubbing, using distancers will make issues i guess specially at the back, this is were every body got rubbing problems when they were out of offset.
