I sold my Lanos to a friend.... she is still getting warranty work and it's just over 4 years old.

I'm 100% sure we have 3 yrs 60,000km "bumper to bumper" warranty and 5yr 100,000km "powertrain" warranty.

When GM bought out Daewoo they set up a giant trust fund to honor warranty claims from current Daewoo owners.

I'm sure the USA still has it..... most dealers are pissed off at GM/Daewoo so they probably don't want to deal with this stuff.

I'm about 90% sure that if this was a Canadian Lanos.... it would get a new engine for free ( or the old one repaired if damage isn't too bad ).

Are you sure you want to just give away $1500??
