Ehh... into a Lanos? I don't think it has the right engine mount bolts.

Engine mount in the Lanos is identical to the engine mount in a 2.0L Astra MKII and Kadett E
The gearbox in the Lanos is a D16 which is a hydraulicly activated version of the cable driven F16 found in the Astra/Kadett
The engine bays between a Lanos and Astra MKII / Kadett E are identical as are almost all the dimensions of the two vehicles.
Since others have stuffed the 6spd F28 into the Astra there is no reason why you couldn't stuff it into the Lanos.
You would need the FWD conversion kit and I think you need to buy new axles.... but it would be a one of a kind Lanos for sure.
The electronics might be a fun one.... that's where your going to spend a couple of bucks.
Mechanically.... there is not much to it...... you could use the stock clutch....but it will probably give out so you might want to source a C20XE clutch, flat face flywheel and pressure plate. ( make sure it has the same bolt pattern as the C20LET crankshaft... which will probably be 8 )
If you have the whole front end of a Calibra it will certainly help to see where everything should go.
