HELP! all my vids are B/W

for some reason my video files are playing in Black and white... it is not one particular video file nor particular player... all vids on all playes play in B/W... WTF is this?? how can i fix this??

i am running Win XP professional with SP2 and got Rage ultra 32MB VGA card, need help

is this a new problem, was it ok before? what codecs do u have? what player? did u changed something from display setings?

are u shure that the movie is not b/w (dont laugh i spend hour fucking with playes codecs...)

i tried WMP, real player, jet audio, winamp and Mplayer... all play in B/W, tried different vid files (and ones i am sure that got colors) and still B/W.

no tampring with codecs or settings was done.

DOWNLOAD XP Codec Pack 1.0.4 OR HIGHER FROM http://www.xpcodecpack.com THIS IS ALL I USE! INSTALL IT FULL AND THAT IT! P.S TRY FIRST WITH BS PLAYA!

P.S. IF THAT DOESENT WORK TRY TO REINSTALL VGA DRIVERS! THIS SHOULD RESTORE TO DEFAULT! THEN U HAVE NEW CODECS + DEFAULT VGA SETUP!

THEN IT MUST WORK 100%

forgot to say that the next day the PC got back to its old self and vids are playing in colors now... thanks for the help.

just format C:/
