yeah it seems the top of the strut is not attached to the chassis so it was leaning to the outside... what car is that anyways? it got funny looking prop shaft and seems like front engine rear wheel drive car.

Anyone recommend a high qaulity muffler? Im looking for a straight through cannon type muffler w/ a 3" inlet. Stailnless would be nice. It definitly needs to hold up for along time and not sound like crap. Im willing to dish out a few bucks also.

go to a local muffler shop or perfomance shop and pic one out.it kinda a shot in the dark with what sound you want. i got a Pro One muffler w/ 2 1/2 inlet and it has like a 3 inch tip(outlet).i think my car sounds great it still got nice back pressure and good rumble when you are at high prm and you get off the gas.

I love ractive but i dont think it'd be a good choice for a turbo application. I had a good one from them that fell apart at the track in the summer after only some 12k miles on it.

I just thought.. theres a STI/EVO/240SX shop around here that sponsors alotta the races.. im sure they'd have some good mufflers in stock that can handle a turbo application.. then i can just go get it off ebay for half the price.

Is $185*edit price changed* shipped a good deal for the apex'i N1?

It's $45 extra for the silincer.. seems kinda steep. I dont think it'd get it untill i had the muffler installed and know i'd need it.

So far im gonna stick with the apexi unless i find something i like better. The cheapest site i could find JIC mufflers on was selling the apexi muffler for $55 more than i saw on ebay and i cant find any JIC on ebay.

my reasoning for reccomending those two... is that they are great brands and stand up well to the intense temps found in turbo applications. they are really solid mufflers with GREAT sounds

I found a list of muffler that alotta people use for their STIs... with LOTS Of pictures and a couple sound clips. Unfortunitly the sound clips arnt that helpfull

Im starting to like HKS carbon TI exhaust with the flame treated tip.. although i HKS stuff is usually wayyy to expensive *edit.. yeah bout $360 for the muffler alone

Well I got a sound clip the apexi N1 muffler on an eclipse gst (205ish hp 2.0 turbo). Anyone wanna tell me how it sounds? Its hard to tell i had to listen to it on the laptop but either it sounds bad or the camera sucks. http://vrsm.vividracing.com/index.php?s ... 0a663fda81
