Installing a Switch for Neons, Need Advice Plz!!!!!

Thanks for the info, i suppose i will just have to explore the car myself and see how to do most things, when u say use power from the car cd player, since it has a plug on there how is it possible to wire up the neon cord to it unless u cut the plug off.

well the easy way to do it would be to cut the wire a little bit behind the plug i dunno maybe 2-6 inches back from the plug so you have some wire to work with, but then just cut the power wire then strip the ends and then take the wire for the switch, twist them all together and put a wire cap on them and you are done.

I read you can use the red wire called the hot wire to power it could i do that?

hot means it has power going though it (postive line)

cold means it's a ground line (negative line)

I might get the neon washers, undercar neons professionally installed until ive caught the drift on how to do all that, but thanks for your guys help. Does anyone know how to solder speaker wires by the way?

strip off the insulation and then mesh the 2 wires togeather and then heat the wires with it iron, then put the solder on it. then coat with tape

Make sure to disconnect the negative battery cable before doing any work. You don't want to end up with blown fuses (not that it's a big deal, but another pain).

Ill make sure i do thanks, is there special places on the car where the undercar neons go or can u put them anywhere under the car?
