Timing works how?

Post by SC-Xtc »

Ok,
how does the computer read timing for the coilpacks?
Is there a crank position sensor?
Or does it use a cam position sensor?

So these cars use a crank , and cam position sensor.
I don't remember seeing both.
Does anyone have a wiring diagram, to make sure of this?

I have had to replace both already, trust me on this.

The cam positioning sensor is sitting right between the cams and the crank sensor is on the bottom near the crank pulley.
