At what ohm the power amplifier cant be load?. Remember most of the speaker are 4 ohm. If you put 2 4 ohm speaker in pararell mode you load that channel at 2 ohm.

if the amp is two ohm stable you can wire them in 2 ohms it will work just fine only in mono, just make sure the speakers can handel the power, it would suck to blow them.

Well the amp runs 250rms x 1 @4ohms and the speakers are 130rms @4ohms so sounds good to me.. or am i missing something?

if its 2 ohm stable it will send 250 to each speaker, just turn the amp down and you should be ok to test every thing out

Remember - ohm more watts. When you down the ohms the watts grow up. Ohm just mine to resistence. The most mono amplifier cant be down at 1 ohm.

Well im pretty sure its the amp.. i wired up my other amp (the sony one) and didnt get any buzzing at all. Though i barley got sound out of the speakers either. Mostly just mid-type bass sound.. well in other words no highs and the volume was very low. The amp doesnt allow anything above 200hz so that maybe it. .... Hopfully i can get the amp repaired under a warranty or something sicne its never been used. I got it from sonix electronix but I installed most of it.. i think that voids the warranty. But i did have a shop install some of it so maybe i can get them to say they installed it all.

thanks for all the help guys.

Installing it yourself shouldn't void the warranty, unless they can PROVE you did something wrong to cause damage. Just take it back, explain the issue, and walk out with your new amp. :D

Also, just out of interest, where did you route your main power cable through the firewall of your forenza? I'm looking for a good point to go through the firewall without drilling any new holes.
