engine is unrepairable thats all he told me its just bust and id have to get a new one.

i came from a country where "nothing is unrepairable" i find it hard to accept this statment... anyways i am so sorry to hear that man.

?400 down da drain like and my first 2 days of driving it too. Some people fix cars so that when u buy them from auctions they break down after few hours

isn't there a lemon law in the UK? now i'm not sure on auctions so it might be different but that just sounds really fishy.

If u buy from a auction, sales are final, all they do is like REV the engine to see if its ok n thats it like, i mean engine sounded awesome and it was awesome for a couple of hours then ticking then dead.

well just think of it this way. if you get the other woo for 900pounds and you paid 200 for this one then you still got a hell of a deal. you got one vehicle that runs and another for parts so you don't have to try and find parts unless its really necessary.

your in the UK... i would seriously be putting in a 2.0 turbo.... hell you only got 400 into it.. and it would be sweet
you got more motors there that will fit in that thing then here in the USA.. check it out.. you thought it was fast before!! :twisted:

Woohoo, I am 19 my insurance for the car as it is is ?2100. If i put any bigger engine in it the price would shoot up again, i was happy with the 1.4

Black,
the 1.4 on Corsas should be the same engine has yours, the management and sensors are different, all mechanical parts such as block and head should be compatible.
