I was shown a product that bonds most broken plastics: Styrene, Butyrate, ABS, Acrylic, Lucite and Plexiglas.
http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wt ... =&I=LX0998
It's called ProWeld and it is a chemical bonding agent.
Fit the broken plastic pieces together, brush this over the crack and the liquid goes into the crack and reattaches the break.
Try it somewhere that can not be seen the stuff can discolor some plastic of make the shiny plastic dull.
If you are not good at fixing things, you may not want to try this as it can damage something you want to repair, so be warned.
Easily fix most broken plastic!

I'm using it in my custom Lanos grille project.
Using the case of an old television, I cut up the black ABS plastic into the pieces I needed and I'm using this to bond everything. For added strength in places you can not see, I am using a soldering gun to melt the plastic pieces together.
I just thought this plastic welder was such a great product that I had to share it with everyone on here.

You should be able to buy something similar in a larger hobby stores that carries plastic models and accessories....I remember old days when I was playing with 1:32 scale Tiger Tank model...by accident broke a piece of front armor and used Tamiya's stuff. I just dont recall what was the name of it

As Tom said above, it is available in most hobby shops.daewoomofo wrote:can you only get it online?
I found it near the model paint by the trains in the hobby shop near my school.
My friend buys it at the hobby shop by his house, so it is a pretty commonly carried item.
If you look and can not find it, ask the people working there if they have bottles of plastic welder and they should be able to help.
