amp cutting out

well its still cutting out, i have the two 4 ohm mtx 12's wired in stereo, and it still cuts out, even at low volume (less thatn half) it over heats, cuts out, cools for a bit comes back on then in a few min it does it again, im getting REALLY pissed at this! please any one help me!

ok so i just took the cover off my amp thats giving me problems, and i have afew questions....
is this burned?

frim the other side (looks ok to me)

found this inside the amp(small piece of wire cover)

this is how the amp was mounted in my car

if any one can help it is greatly apreciated!

well i resolcved my amp issue...
heres what i did

got them both new from a friend for $350

nice, I have one too a 3401 mono block

you got them cheap mine costed 300 bucks
